Across France on Foot

From Bray-les-Dunes to Port Bou

THE SOUTH
Moulins - Cerbere

This is the record of a walk across France, from the Belgian border north of Dunkerque
to the Spanish border south of Collioure, over 11 weeks between 2003 and 2005.

The second stage of the walk, from Diou, east of Moulins, right in the heart of France,
to Beziers in Languedoc, took place over a month in September and October 2004. It included the
Chemin de Stevenson, which traces Robert Louis Stevenson's famous walk with a donkey
through mountains of the Cevennes, and the coastal lagoons between Montpellier and Agde.

The final week, in June 2005, from Beziers to the Spanish border at Port Bou, skirted the
Mediterranean to meet the Pyrenees where they meet the sea between Argeles and Cerbere.
